Frozen in Time
There was no wind, no sound. The snow had settled into every shape so perfectly it was hard to tell where the land ended. I remember just standing there, not wanting to move because it felt like even the smallest step would break the moment. Everything felt suspended. Until I saw a bird fly through the mist, frozen in time. It was the kind of stillness you don’t find often.
