Winter's Grasp
On this small pond, the ice had reached out and taken hold of the landscape. A single branch frozen mid-motion as if winter had paused time. I leaned in closer to look at the details. There was beauty in the way everything had stopped and how the frozen water made the view look timeless and painterly. It didn’t feel lifeless. It felt quiet. Like the world had decided to hold still.
